The Europe Festival in Montréal was born from the desire to celebrate the Europeanness of Montréal and to highlight the links and European heritage present across the city.

The aim of the Festival is to present European cultural performances to Quebecers, Canadians and all residents of Montréal in a festive, family and folkloric setting. It is also a means of presenting local cultural and artistic performances, with the aim of exchange and sharing between the European and Québec communities.

The House of Europe in Montréal wishes to show that Montréal is the most European and Europhile city in North America.
